Job Description:

Experience is a must for anyone interested in applying for the current Metalworking Specialist position.

Job Duties:

• Precision and accuracy are paramount when creating tools and equipment, so you must have a keen eye for detail.
• Build, design, and refurbish equipment and casts used in the fabrication process.
• Employ several different manual milling, turning, and grinding machines.
• Build and assemble tooling components using a variety of tools, including hand tools, power tools, and equipment for measuring accuracy.
• Collaborate effectively with engineers and other team members to ensure that the tooling fits within the anticipated design specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to develop best practices and implement improvements to optimize equipment performance.
• Safety guidelines must be obeyed, and maintaining an orderly workspace is crucial for optimal productivity.
