The responsibilities of a Perishable Stock Associate encompass maintaining quality standards, delivering exceptional customer service, and contributing to sales growth while minimizing shrinkage. Creating a welcoming shopping experience, following company procedures, and adhering to food safety regulations are all part of the role.

• Cultivate an environment of enthusiastic customer awareness with a focus on quick, hospitable, and precise service.
• Give kind and supportive aid to fellow associates.
• Make use of company tools such as the Average Cost Inventory System (ACIS) and ordering platforms like Computer-Assisted Ordering (CAO).
• Undertake the responsibility of receiving packages, coding items when required, rotating inventory, and placing them in suitable storage areas.
• Guarantee that the policies of the company are followed in the ordering, receipt, preparation, conditioning, and exhibition of merchandise.
• Sustain optimal product quantities for meat, deli selections, frozen foods, dairy products, and frozen desserts.
• Process and grind beef as per the directions given in the planned production tool.
• Enclose, identify, gauge, and place meat when necessary.
• Grinders must be assembled, disassembled, and washed to ensure proper hygiene.
• Follow protocols to clean and sanitize the department appropriately, ensuring that layout and variety standards are maintained.
• Confirm that advertising and promotional content complies with guidelines.
• Abide by all Food Lion rules, regulations, and standard practices.
• Adhere to the requirements established to uphold safety measures in both food preparation and workplace settings.
• Point out, address, and report any unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty.
• Stay in line with regulations mandated by local, state, and federal entities.
• Ensure a neat and professional look by wearing the designated Food Lion uniform with an apron and a name badge as part of your attire.
• Successfully undertake the required training, including Computer Based Training (CBT) and Training Packets.
• Complete any other duties as designated.

Required Skills and Experience of Perishable Stock Associate:
