Pipeline Installation Technician

Job Description:

Do you have expertise as a Pipeline Installation Technician and an interest in new construction and multi-family projects? If so, we're seeking Pipeline Installation Technicians like you to join our team in a remarkable opportunity! As a Pipeline Installation Technician, you'll be responsible for the installation of plumbing systems in newly constructed high-rises. Our urgent staffing needs are in South Vancouver and UBC, where we're working on a three-tower project. Please take note that the project is in the structure stage of pouring decks and is expected to continue until June 2025. Our location is transit-friendly, but parking on-site is not achievable. From time to time, overtime work is available.

Responsibilites:

• Shape and carve out sections to allow for installation.
• Implementing designated models and sketches for ablution chambers, cooking compartments and cleansing quarters
• Comparatively, PVC pipes are easy to install and less expensive because they readily come in pre-cut lengths and sizes, allowing for easy installation
• Tight spaces and elevated positions necessitate unique safety protocols for workers
• Properly cutting, measuring, and hanging the drainage system are key components to ensure its smooth operation
• The rough-in stage of construction involves the installation of drainpipes and vents to support effective and efficient water flow in bathrooms and kitchens
• Installing a shower or bathtub usually requires some plumbing work, including the proper installation of drain and water supply lines
