Job Title: Porter / Janitorial

Job Summary

The Porter/Janitorial team member plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at Crunch Fitness. This position is responsible for general cleanliness throughout the facility, ensuring that all areas meet the high standards of hygiene and presentation expected by members and staff.</p

Essential Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize locker rooms, showers, restrooms, and common areas

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces throughout the facility

• Empty trash cans and dispose of waste properly

• Clean and maintain fitness equipment and machines

• Restock paper products, soap, and cleaning supplies as needed

• Assist in setting up or breaking down areas for events or maintenance work

• Maintain cleanliness in high-traffic areas including lobbies, studios, and staff rooms

• Follow all company cleaning checklists and safety protocols

• Report any maintenance or safety issues to management promptly

• Help maintain cleanliness and organization of cleaning supply closets

• Provide support to other departments as needed

• Perform other janitorial or porter duties as assigned by management

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods

• Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds

• May be exposed to cleaning chemicals, dust, and varying temperatures

• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, active environment

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial, porter, or cleaning experience preferred but not required

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

• Reliable, responsible, and punctual

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Willingness to maintain high standards of cleanliness and professionalism
