Precision Inspector

Job Description:

We have an opening for a competent Precision Inspector to join our team. Our company, which is family-owned and operates primarily in the automotive, truck, and bus industries, is seeking a candidate who can assist us in maintaining our exceptional quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with product guidelines and requirements
• The preparation of PPAP packages involves compiling documentation, including test reports, design documents, and validation data, that demonstrate the quality and reliability of the new product
• Consistently performing IATF audits is necessary to maintain regulatory conformity
• To properly address an issue, it is important to dig deep and investigate the underlying cause rather than just addressing the symptoms
• The development of work instructions that document processes and procedures is key to ensuring consistency and reducing errors in the production process
• Foster cross-functional collaboration to enhance product quality and manufacturing effectiveness
• Consistent checks of production methods are necessary to identify areas for upgrading
• Ensure accuracy in measures and develop thorough documentation

Pay/Shift:

• The salary for this role falls between $60,000 and $85,000 per year
• Shift: 1st Shift

Required Hard Skills:

• Developing a high level of proficiency in quality control methods involves understanding and applying various techniques, tools, and practices to achieve consistent quality outcomes
• Having experience in managing CMM operations and knowing the ins and outs of its set up can be a game changer when it comes to meeting production deadlines
• Mastery of instruments like calipers and micrometers is a valuable asset to individuals in industries that require precise measurement techniques
• The capacity to produce a PPAP package is an essential qualification for quality assurance professionals
• Continuously updating and monitoring a PFMEA and Control Plan allows for proactive identification and resolution of potential production issues
• My years of leading IATF audits have provided me with immense knowledge about the automotive industry and its unique quality requirements. This, in turn, has allowed me to provide valuable insights to clients
• Possesses extensive experience in conducting rigorous investigations to determine the root cause of problems
• Developing and managing high-quality metrics requires significant expertise in data collection, analysis, and interpretation, as well as an understanding of the unique needs of each organization
