As a Produce Porter, you'll play a key role in making sure our produce department is clean, organized, well-stocked, and inviting. What You'll Do

Under the supervision of department leadership, the Produce Porter supports the overall presentation, cleanliness, and safety of the Produce Department. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the unloading, stocking, rotation, and display of fresh fruits and vegetables

• Ensuring shelves and displays are clean, full, and properly labeled at all times

• Removing any spoiled or damaged items to maintain product quality and safety

• Maintaining clean floors, shelves, and refrigeration areas to support a sanitary working environment

• Providing excellent customer service by answering questions and helping locate items

• Monitoring inventory levels and communicating low stock to department managers

• Assisting with product prep, signage, and department organization as needed

• Following all safety and food handling guidelines

What You'll Bring

We’re looking for someone with:

• A strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude

• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, and lift heavy items (up to 60 lbs) for extended periods

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• A passion for delivering great service and maintaining a welcoming environment

• Willingness to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced grocery store setting

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Working Conditions

This position is physically demanding and will involve working in coolers, refrigerated areas, and on your feet for most of the shift. Visual and auditory awareness is essential.
