Product Quality Analyst

Job Description:

A skilled Product Quality Analyst is presently being sought to fulfill a role in our organization. We are a family-run business that specializes in manufacturing precision machined components for the automotive, truck, and bus sectors. The successful applicant will have a critical part to play in ensuring that we continue to maintain our high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality control inspections to check the quality of finished products
• The PPAP package should also include a control plan outlining the steps taken to ensure the product remains consistent and reliable through its lifecycle
• IATF audits must be led regularly to maintain conformity with industry standards
• Effective problem-solving requires not only addressing the immediate symptoms but understanding and resolving the root cause of a problem
• To achieve the benefits of quality control procedures, it is important to establish clear goals and metrics to measure progress and make continuous improvements based on data-driven insights
• Encourage collaborative efforts across various functions to enhance product quality and streamline manufacturing processes
• Conducting frequent examinations of the manufacturing process helps to identify opportunities for enhancement
• Guarantee precision in quality metrics and devise elaborate reports

Pay/Shift:

• In terms of pay, this job offers an annual salary between $60,000 and $85,000
• Shift: 1st Shift

• Effective quality control requires the use of structured methodologies that focus on eliminating defects, improving efficiency, and reducing costs
• Mastery of these skills can ensure that the manufacturing process is efficient and effective, reducing wasted resources and maximizing productivity
• A thorough understanding of the operation of measuring devices like calipers and micrometers is crucial for individuals who require precise assessment of physical objects
• The talent for compiling thorough PPAP submissions is highly prized in the automotive industry
• Regular meetings and review sessions to discuss observations and changes in production can aid in maintaining a relevant and effective PFMEA and Control Plan
• I approach each IATF audit with a significant degree of empathy and understanding that every client is different. This allows me to work with clients on a personal level and provide recommendations that suit their specific needs
• Committed to continuous improvement through ongoing root cause analysis and implementation of best practices
