Production Crane Operator

Job Description:

The available position of Production Crane Operator requires a skilled candidate to join our team. You will undertake the assembly and building of structural forms such as crane components, jib cranes, cranes, and other structures. Electrical assembly and wiring of industrial equipment is another key area of your job responsibilities. You will wire new cranes during fabrication, assemble 3-phase and Single-phase electric hoists, and configure pneumatic hoists. You will also be required to assemble and wire control boxes, work with PLC's, and troubleshoot. You should also assemble and test electric and pneumatic chain hoists, electric wire rope hoists, and push/geared/motorized trolleys tailored to meet the customer's demands. In addition, you will be tasked with the assembly and testing of crane system electrical components such as bridge control boxes, crane wiring, end truck motors, and assemblies. You will utilize various handheld pneumatic and electric power tools, such as drills, drivers, riveters, impact wrenches, nut runners, saws, and grinders, in your work.

Hard Skills

• Blueprint reading skills are a valuable requirement for individuals involved in the construction of any building
• Accurately documenting all wiring details, including the specifications of all components used to develop and maintain the PLC system, can facilitate the identification of potential problems and maximize the probability of quick resolutions
• Variable Frequency Drives - A Comprehensive Guide
• Competence in conduit placement
• I have developed a deep understanding of the technology and equipment involved in working with electrical power at 460/480V. From transformers and distribution systems to motor controls and switchgear, I am well-versed in the technical aspects of this field
