Production Technician

1 opening for PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN in Hudson, WI

• Pay: $22-25/hr base pay before shift differential - 15% shift differential ($25.30-28.75/hr)

• Weekend Position Available : Friday = 8am-8pm and Saturday/Sunday = 10 a.m.–10 p.m.

Job Description:

• Candidates will be working as a Production Technician in a light cleanroom setting (lab coat, hair net, safety goggles)

• This facility has 15 laser machines but this person will be in charge of their "Flex Stacker" machine, which is their most complicated machine

Candidate will be using two different computer monitors to operate and troubleshoot. One screen will have the machine settings on there (the different X,Y,Z axis directions and start/stop buttons) The other screen will have the Vision System which is comprised of the different cameras and their POV so you can see where the axis are vs where the laser is hitting the products and includes the different numbers for measurements on the screen. Candidates must be able to notice when axis are line up, or not lined up, and will also need to be able to troubleshoot if the machine stops working. (If it is a serious problem, they have a maintenance team but will need to work on it themselves for a while before resulting to that option.)

Attention to detail, being able to troubleshoot and work independently are the three most important skills for this position since they will be the only person on their shift that will know how to work and troubleshoot the machine

Overall:

-Needs to have good tenure with machine operating and troubleshooting experience

-Candidates with "roll to roll" experience from printing companies do really well

-Independent work

-MUST HAVE VISION SYSTEM EXPERIENCE

-No blueprint reading needed for this
