Quality Assurance Inspector

Job Description:

Our organization is currently in search of a competent Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. We are a family-owned company that focuses on producing precision machined components for the automotive, truck, and bus markets. The selected candidate will have an important role to play in maintaining our rigorous quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect products to ensure that they meet the required standards and guidelines
• When creating PPAP packages, it's important to ensure that all relevant stakeholders are involved in the process, including manufacturers, suppliers, and customers
• The conduction of IATF audits is important for businesses to sustain their compliance with industry standards
• Corrective actions are necessary to address the underlying cause of a problem and ensure that it does not happen again in the future
• The implementation of quality control procedures involves training employees to follow established work instructions and monitoring their performance to ensure compliance
• Promote collaboration among different teams to improve manufacturing processes and product quality
• It is crucial to conduct regular evaluations of the manufacturing process to identify opportunities for improvement
• Sustain high-quality metrics and generate detailed evaluations

Pay/Shift:

• The expected yearly remuneration for this post is in the range of $60,000-$85,000
• Shift: 1st Shift

Required Hard Skills:

• Effective quality control requires the use of structured methodologies that focus on eliminating defects, improving efficiency, and reducing costs
• Furthermore, setting up the machine correctly can make a significant difference in the accuracy of the measurements taken
• Grasping the application of measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers can assist in the detection of minor deviations in critical dimensions
• Being skilled in preparing PPAP packages is an advantage for companies looking to improve their product development processes
• The success of a PFMEA and Control Plan relies heavily on keeping accurate records of changes made and any corresponding actions taken
• As an IATF audit leader, I am well-versed in navigating complex compliance issues. I maintain a strong focus on risk analysis and control techniques that add value to the client's operations
• Proven ability to apply root cause analysis techniques across different industries and contexts
• Developing and maintaining quality metrics can help organizations to achieve a more consistent level of quality, which in turn can improve customer satisfaction and retention
