Regional Director of Operations

Job Type: Full-Time

Reports To: Vice President of Operations or Chief Operating Officer

Compensation: Competitive Salary + Bonus + Benefits

Position Summary

The Regional Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day business operations across multiple locations within a designated region. This leadership role ensures that each location consistently meets or exceeds company goals related to revenue, service quality, compliance, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of General Managers and other operational leaders across all assigned locations

• Ensure operational excellence, profitability, and customer satisfaction within the region

• Drive consistent execution of brand standards, company policies, and operational procedures

• Analyze regional performance metrics and develop strategic action plans for improvement

• Partner with Human Resources to recruit, train, and retain high-performing staff and leadership teams

• Monitor and manage regional budgets, expenses, and profit/loss statements

• Conduct regular site visits to assess performance, deliver coaching, and ensure brand integrity

• Lead the rollout of new initiatives, programs, and systems across the region

• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and legal regulations

• Serve as the point of contact for escalation issues and regional concerns

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred)

• 5+ years of multi-unit operations leadership experience (preferably in fitness, retail, or hospitality)

• Proven success in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple business locations

• Strong understanding of budgeting, financial analysis, and performance metrics

• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

• Ability to travel frequently within the assigned region
