Position Overview

We are seeking highly skilled, compassionate physicians licensed in multiple U.S. states to join our Remote Care team. This role is ideal for physicians with experience in primary care, internal medicine, urgent care, emergency medicine, or addiction medicine who want to practice high-quality medicine in a fully virtual environment.

Physicians in this role will:

• Provide modern, patient-centered care without the constraints of a traditional practice.

• Work collaboratively with other physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff.

• Have the flexibility to tailor schedules while maintaining consistent patient access.

Hybrid opportunities may occasionally be available, but the position is primarily fully remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual patient consultations, including patient history review, physical assessment (as feasible), and treatment planning.

• Prescribe medications responsibly, including buprenorphine for opioid addiction treatment (QuickMD does not prescribe other controlled substances).

• Order, interpret, and monitor lab tests to inform clinical decisions.

• Provide patient education and counseling to support treatment adherence and positive outcomes.

• Collaborate with colleagues, nurses, and support staff to ensure continuity of care.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation in the EMR.

• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth best practices, and regulatory guidelines.

• Participate in optional training to expand clinical competencies, including buprenorphine waiver training.

Requirements

• Active medical license in at least 3 states (preferably 5), with priority given to CA, FL, NC, PA, TX.

• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses (QuickMD covers licensing fees and provides assistance).

• Commitment to at least 15–20 core hours per week (8 AM–6 PM local time), across minimum 4 days, with schedules planned one week in advance.

• Experience in telemedicine or high-volume clinical practice.

• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.

• Comfortable using telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided).

• At least one DEA certification and any applicable state-specific licenses.
