Job Summary of Rental Lot Support Associate:

U-Haul is currently seeking enthusiastic and personable individuals to take on the role of Rental Lot Support Associate. In this capacity, you will collaborate with a team to showcase U-Haul's outstanding service and help customers effectively navigate their journeys by inspecting and servicing equipment. Additionally, you will aid customers and leverage modern technology for equipment dispatch and return processes. This position provides opportunities for on-the-job training. Responsibilities of Rental Lot Support Associate:

• Assist individuals at a U-Haul center by guiding them with U-Haul goods and services inside and outside the establishment.
• Leverage smartphone-based U-Scan technology as a tool for effectively managing rental transactions and inventory control.
• Shift and attach U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Conduct routine checks and cleanliness assessments of the equipment within the premises, including the monitoring of fluid levels.
• Educate clients by addressing queries and offering insights on different products and services.
• Create rental invoices and manage the return of rented items.
• Implement hitch and trailer wiring installations.
• The opportunity to obtain certification for filling propane tanks is provided by U-Haul to its employees
• Gain the necessary training to operate a forklift, including the option to attain certification through U-Haul upon starting the job
• Miscellaneous assignments as needed
• Enroll in U-Haul University to participate in ongoing educational initiatives and training programs.

Qualifications of Rental Lot Support Associate:

• A current driver's license and the skill to uphold a satisfactory driving record are necessary
• Possession of a high school diploma or a similar qualification is mandatory

• Physical exertion is required for this role, such as extended periods of immobility, movement in various indoor and outdoor settings, positioning oneself to reach objects at different heights, and handling equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs either with help or independently.
