Job Summary of Rental Service Representative:

Moreover, you will be responsible for aiding customers and managing equipment dispatch and returns using the latest technology. This position provides opportunities for hands-on training. U-Haul's philosophy is based on swift recruitment and payment, allowing candidates to commence work and receive compensation promptly. By arranging two practical working interviews, you can earn payment for each session.

Responsibilities of Rental Service Representative:

• Provide support to patrons at a U-Haul location by presenting U-Haul products and services both indoors and outdoors.
• Utilize smartphone-based U-Scan technology for the supervision of rentals and inventory management.
• Transfer and attach U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Perform a thorough inspection of equipment located on the site, which includes assessing fluid levels.
• Provide customers with knowledge about products and services through answering their queries.
• Create invoices for rentals and manage returned equipment.
• Mount hitching equipment and configure wiring systems for trailers.
• Gain the necessary qualification to refill propane tanks, a certification that U-Haul offers upon recruitment
• Utilizing a forklift (certification available through U-Haul upon being hired) is part of the job responsibilities
• Tasks beyond the usual scope of work could be delegated
• Be part of the ongoing educational programs at U-Haul University to develop and grow in your role as a Customer Service Representative

Qualifications of Rental Service Representative:

• Valid drivers license and ability to maintain a good driving record
