Qualification of Retail Assistant:

• Availability needs to encompass a flexible schedule that involves evenings and weekends.
• Working hours are part-time and are subject to adjustments in accordance with the business requirements.
• A high school diploma or its equivalent (GED) must be held or actively pursued.
• Candidates who have worked in retail for three to six months are desirable.
• Proficient in elementary mathematics, reading, and verbal interaction capabilities.
• Those below the age of 16 are not eligible.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and operate a Brannock device.
• This role involves regular lifting and moving of objects up to 25 pounds and periodic lifting and moving of items up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates applying for this role need to exhibit specific vision skills, such as the ability to see clearly both up close and far away, accurate color perception, good peripheral vision, and the capability to adjust focus accordingly.
