Position Overview

As a Retail Team Member at H&M, you are the heart of the customer experience. You will play a key role in ensuring the store runs smoothly by offering outstanding service, maintaining visual standards, and supporting daily operations. With a passion for fashion and teamwork, you help create a welcoming and inspiring shopping environment.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement

• Actively greet and interact with customers on the sales floor

• Provide product recommendations and style guidance

• Support customers with fitting room requests and product information

• Promote and educate shoppers on the H&M Loyalty Program

Sales Floor and Visual Standards

• Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and easy to shop

• Replenish merchandise and maintain size availability

• Follow visual presentation standards for displays and fixtures

• Assist with markdowns, stockroom organization, and floor moves

Operations and Transactions

• Unload and process deliveries, label and tag products

• Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately

• Bag items properly and ensure a smooth checkout experience

• Handle returns and exchanges following company policies

Teamwork and Store Support

• Collaborate with teammates to achieve sales and service goals

• Share product and process knowledge to support training

• Participate in daily team meetings and store communications

• Support loss prevention and safety procedures at all times

Qualifications

• Passion for customer service and retail

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Open availability including weekends and evenings

• Comfortable lifting up to 20 pounds and standing for long hours

• Previous retail experience is a plus but not required
