Regular inspections and corrections by the Room Service Attendant guarantee that the hospital meets sanitation regulations:

• The application of effective cleaning solutions ensures that fixtures, doors, furniture, and other interior furnishings are thoroughly sanitized.
• Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and dusting floors in assigned areas are part of the cleaning task required to maintain cleanliness.
• The duty of transporting, eliminating, and disposing of soiled laundry, trash, and hazardous medical waste.
• Keeping an optimal amount of supplies available in designated areas to ensure the smooth functioning of the operations.
• Taking part in quality improvement initiatives helps healthcare organizations to enhance their operational efficiency.
• The timely reporting of necessary repairs helps to preserve the quality of hospital facilities and prolong their life span.
• Undertaking exclusive cleaning projects when necessary.

Job Type:

Work Environment:

• The position demands an adaptable schedule, with a primary focus on morning shifts and filling in as required.
• Operating from 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM, the day shift consists of several work hours
• Work schedule of 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM or 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM is generally referred to as the swing shift
• The primary role of the Environmental Services Department (EVS) is to maintain a secure and clean setting in the hospital.
• The responsibility is to maintain the cleanliness and disinfection of all surfaces, in accordance with the protocols that support a hygienic and safe environment for everyone involved in the healthcare facility.
• The uniform requirement for the role is black scrubs and slip-resistant footwear. During the initial week of employment, the employee is given two shirts and a badge to wear. All company-owned equipment or objects borrowed must be returned immediately after the task or the next workday following termination.
