Route Sales Associate

Job Overview

As a Route Sales Associate, you will be responsible for managing and growing sales within an assigned territory while ensuring timely product delivery to customers. This position combines sales, merchandising, and customer service responsibilities, making you the primary point of contact for clients along your route. You will build strong relationships, drive revenue, and represent the company with professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver products to established customer accounts along assigned routes.

• Promote and sell company products and services to meet sales targets.

• Identify opportunities to upsell or expand product offerings.

• Maintain accurate delivery records, invoices, and payment collections.

• Merchandise products at customer locations to ensure proper display and visibility.

• Provide excellent customer service by resolving inquiries and concerns.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive loyalty.

• Conduct inventory checks and manage product rotation to ensure freshness/quality.

• Safely operate company vehicles and comply with all traffic and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Prior experience in sales, merchandising, or route delivery preferred.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.

• Ability to lift and carry products (up to 50 lbs.) and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Self-motivated with strong time-management and organizational abilities.
