Job Overview
As a Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in driving business growth by engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and recommending tailored solutions. You will act as a trusted advisor, guiding customers through the decision-making process, and ensuring they receive the right products or services to achieve their goals. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, consultative selling techniques, and a customer-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and engage potential clients through prospecting, networking, and referrals
Conduct needs assessments to understand customer requirements and pain points
Present, promote, and demonstrate products or services effectively
Develop customized solutions that align with client goals
Negotiate terms, close sales, and achieve revenue targets
Build and maintain long-term client relationships to encourage repeat business
Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor offerings
Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, customer success) to deliver value-added solutions
Provide after-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred)
Prior experience in sales, consulting, or customer-facing roles
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Consultative selling approach with the ability to uncover client needs
Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and digital sales tools
Self-motivated, target-driven, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
