About the Role

As a Sales Executive at H&M, you will play a key role in driving sales and delivering an outstanding customer experience. You will combine your passion for fashion with a deep understanding of sales strategies to actively promote our products and contribute to the commercial success of your store. Collaborating closely with store leadership, you will support daily sales operations, mentor colleagues, and help build a vibrant team focused on exceeding targets.

A Day in the Life

At H&M, no two days are the same, but typical responsibilities include:

Customer Sales & Profit

• Deliver excellent customer service by actively engaging with customers and guiding them through their shopping journey.

• Use your fashion knowledge to inspire and educate customers about current trends, styles, and products.

• Drive sales by promoting key collections, campaigns, and loyalty programs such as our Hello Member App.

• Collaborate with the Store Manager and team to meet and exceed store sales targets and commercial goals.

• Monitor sales performance, analyze key sales metrics, and participate in sales planning meetings.

Team Collaboration & Development

• Support and motivate store colleagues to deliver excellent customer experiences.

• Assist with onboarding, training, and coaching new team members on sales techniques and product knowledge.

• Foster a positive, dynamic, and inclusive work environment.

• Participate in regular feedback sessions to contribute to continuous store improvement.

Retail Operations & Visual Standards

• Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and maintaining a well-presented sales floor.

• Support visual merchandising efforts to ensure product displays align with brand guidelines.

• Uphold health, safety, and operational procedures to maintain store standards.

Qualifications

• Passionate about fashion and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

• Proven sales experience in retail or a related industry, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Self-motivated, flexible, and a team player who thrives in a dynamic environment.

• Basic computer literacy to handle sales systems and customer databases.

• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

• Ability to stand for long periods and manage physical tasks related to retail.

Compensation

Hourly rate: Competitive, based on experience.
