Position Overview

As a Sales Assistant at H&M, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience. You will assist customers on the sales floor, maintain store presentation, support stock processes, and work collaboratively with your team to drive store success. This is a customer-facing position that requires enthusiasm, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience

• Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm and professionalism

• Provide styling suggestions and product knowledge to guide purchases

• Ensure fitting rooms are clean, organized, and efficiently managed

• Promote the H&M Loyalty Program and assist customers with enrollment

Sales Floor Management

• Keep the sales floor neat, fully stocked, and aligned with visual guidelines

• Support merchandising efforts including folding, hanging, and displaying garments

• Perform markdowns, restocking, and replenishment activities as needed

• Maintain awareness of store promotions and product placements

Operational Support

• Unpack and process new merchandise deliveries

• Operate the register to complete sales transactions accurately

• Follow store procedures for returns, exchanges, and refunds

• Comply with all company policies including safety and security protocols

Team Collaboration

• Work effectively as part of a team to meet store goals

• Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members

• Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment

• Attend daily meetings and training sessions as required

Qualifications

• Strong interest in fashion, trends, and customer service

• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced retail setting

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds

• Prior retail or customer-facing experience is preferred
