Job Overview

As a Sanitation Attendant, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for employees, customers, and visitors. You will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing designated areas, handling waste disposal, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing of assigned areas including restrooms, break rooms, and common spaces.

• Collect, sort, and dispose of trash, recyclables, and waste according to company and regulatory guidelines.

• Operate cleaning tools and equipment safely and efficiently.

• Restock supplies such as soap, sanitizers, paper products, and cleaning materials.

• Respond promptly to cleaning or sanitation requests and emergency spills.

• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of chemicals and protective equipment.

• Maintain records of cleaning schedules and sanitation activities.

• Report maintenance or safety issues to supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Previous experience in custodial, sanitation, or housekeeping roles is a plus.

• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and safe chemical handling.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

• Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks.
