Sanitation Technician

Job Description:

Your duties will also entail providing necessary supplies, such as tissues, paper towels, soap, etc., in areas as required and checking cleaning supplies every day. Additionally, you will be responsible for properly disposing of trash and medical waste from all areas of the facility, ensuring that all trash cans have a new liner and are well sanitized. Furthermore, you will move furniture safely without causing any damage to furniture or walls. You will clean all assigned areas using proper cleaning solutions, equipment, and techniques, using properly labeled chemicals to avoid any safety risks.

Job Type

The worker will have a 90-day agreement, which is the length of their employment.

Work Environment

In a hospital environment, a job opening offers the opportunity to work with a team of 6 to 8 employees, led by a Lead EVS and overseen by the Director of Plant Operations. The facility encompasses 36 rooms and covers 60,000 sq ft, housing a cafeteria, 3 smaller gyms, and a common area.
