Job Description:

As a Seasonal Cook at Five Guys, you will assist in preparing and cooking menu items during peak seasons or temporary periods of high demand. Your role is essential in ensuring food quality, safety, and timely service. This position requires flexibility, efficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively with other kitchen and front-of-house staff to maintain smooth restaurant operations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items, including burgers, fries, and other specialties, according to company standards.

• Assist with ingredient preparation, portioning, and seasoning as required.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking stations.

• Monitor cooking times and food temperatures to ensure quality and safety.

• Support other kitchen and front-of-house staff during busy periods.

• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times.

• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.

• Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management promptly.

Requirements:

• Previous cooking or food preparation experience preferred but not required; training is provided.

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Flexibility to work seasonal shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality food.

• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

• Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
