Job Overview
As the Sr Store Team Leader (General Manager), you are responsible for driving overall store performance by leading, motivating, and developing a high-performing team. You ensure the store delivers exceptional guest experiences, achieves financial goals, and upholds AEO’s brand standards. You are both a strategic business driver and a people-first leader who empowers your team to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of store operations, including sales, service, merchandising, payroll management, and profitability.

• Deliver and sustain a guest-first culture, ensuring every interaction reflects AEO’s values and brand standards.

• Recruit, train, develop, and retain top talent to build a strong, engaged team.

• Drive sales results by analyzing business performance, setting goals, and executing action plans.

• Ensure flawless execution of visual merchandising, brand updates, and operational standards.

• Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and recognition.

• Manage payroll and scheduling to balance operational needs with business goals.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, loss prevention strategies, and store safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of retail management experience, preferably in a multi-manager environment.

• Proven ability to drive sales and meet or exceed business goals.

• Strong leadership, coaching, and people development skills.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
