Solar Technician

Job Description:

Join our efficient crew as we take on the exciting endeavor aimed at setting up a solar farm capable of generating 175MW of power, covering a vast area of 1798 acres and featuring 235,000 solar panels. Responsibilities encompass many tasks, including installing panels, constructing racking systems, securing bolts and fixtures, supervising wires, setting up inverters, digging trenches, shaping conduits, managing material support systems, and performing other various labor-related duties. The project requires a one-year commitment that warrants 40-hours of work per week.

Job Type:

The fixed-term contract available for this opening is for a period of 12 months. Hence, work will stop during heavy snowfall in the winter season, with a resumption only in the spring.

Work Environment:

The location of the project is in a mountainous area, where work is put on hold when snowfall gets heavy and then resumed in the spring season.
