Soldering Technician

Job Description:

We are looking for an accomplished Soldering Technician to be part of our team. The candidate will carry out brazing procedures on assorted components, guaranteeing high-quality levels and strict observance of safety protocols. Key Responsibilities:

• Torch brazing methods are frequently used to join metal components by melting them.
• Set the brazing equipment up in a safe, secure and well-ventilated area and make sure all connections are secure.
• Clean and prepare metal surfaces to be brazed, ensuring that they are properly aligned and fitted.
• Keep an eye on the brazing process and administer it to achieve the desired joint quality and strength.
• Inspect the quality of the brazed connections to detect any faults and ensure that they meet the prescribed criteria.
• Regular maintenance and troubleshooting are crucial to ensuring that your brazing equipment is operating at its best and, most importantly, safely.
• It is essential to be mindful of safety protocols and guidelines, as they can help prevent accidents and injuries.
• Jointly work with team members and supervisors to fulfil production goals and meet project deadlines.
• Precise documentation of the tasks accomplished and the materials used should be a standard operating procedure.
• Work towards better brazing processes and increased efficiency through active involvement in continuous improvement programs.

Qualifications:

• Technical training or certification in brazing is a requirement, coupled with a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Solid history of display of effective Brazer skills in the manufacturing or industrial field.
• Excellent competence in torch brazing procedures and in-depth awareness of multiple metals and alloys.
• Demands for a precise and detail-oriented individual are high in this role.
• The aptitude to decipher and unravel blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics accurately.
• Proficient in the complex interaction between the eyes and hands.
• Displaying superior analytical abilities and the expertise to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems efficiently.
