Overall Job Summary:

The Store Director is responsible for reaching the Sales and Profit goals in the Store by setting a plan to deliver the Best Customer Experience. The Store Director will ensure to have the Best Team and support their development, as well as work with talent and leadership development and structured performance management for the Store Team based on results, values, and leadership. The Store Director will work in accordance with legal requirements and H&M standards, policies, and procedures to meet the expectations of customers and colleagues.

A Day in the Life

Sales and Profit

• Consistently analyze Sales & Profit KPIs to identify trends and opportunities for maximizing performance
• Implement H&M store operation standards and industry-recommended practices by utilizing effective scheduling methods to enhance conversion rates, promote sales activities, organize events, manage tasks, and establish consistent routines. Prioritize customer satisfaction while adhering to the labor hour budget to meet sales performance goals effectively
• Join forces with the Area and Store team to prioritize initiatives and provide reviews on store allocations to guarantee a successful product assortment that enhances selling potential
• Administer store maintenance cost-effectively to align with H&M criteria and initiate relevant actions accordingly
• Collaborate with the Store Team to prevent losses and meticulously follow Audit guidelines
• Play a role in carrying out store routines and tasks effectively, which may include responsibilities like handling the delivery truck, processing garments, making reductions, and adjusting prices as needed

People and Teams

• Manage recruitment, training, growth, and succession planning for the Store in accordance with the best practices of H&M
• Evaluate and oversee the Store Team members' performance, conduct dialogues, create development plans, offer feedback, and perform follow-ups, and take steps to enhance performance in support of the business requirements
• Promote consistent and clear communication with the Store team regarding Business Performance, Company Culture & Values, and Country/Sales Market/Area/Store targets through daily Store Meetings and periodic Leadership Meetings
• Adhere to the set standards for health, safety, legal, and security protocols established by H&M and local authorities, prioritizing the safety and security of employees and customers
• Improve our Company Culture by prioritizing feedback within our daily responsibilities and mentoring the Store Team on how to effectively incorporate this practice

Financial Accountability

• It is the store's duty to deliver on sales objectives and increase profits
• Precise documentation of sales statistics and hours logged

• Aptitude for climbing a ladder and leveraging a footstool as needed
• Able to work evenings and weekends, with an open schedule
• Welcome are candidates who possess two to three years of portable experience in overseeing management-level staff
• Having a grasp of basic computer skills, such as browsing, software interaction, and data input, is crucial
• Traveling when needed to assist other stores, attend meetings, and partake in training sessions may be a requirement
