Job Summary of Substitute Faculty:

Take charge of classroom instruction and reinforce educational objectives in alignment with established guidelines when the regular teacher is not present. Maintain a structured learning environment following school policies and behavioral expectations. This role presents an opportunity to cultivate teaching proficiency and support student advancement.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Substitute Faculty:

• Complete and deliver lesson plans in line with the directives of the missing teacher.
• Preserve a safe and well-maintained classroom atmosphere.
• Guide students in comprehending the content of their studies and finishing their assignments on time.
• Report student health issues, injuries, or significant breaches of behavior rules to school administrators as soon as possible.
• Follow through with extra assignments as given by school officials.

Qualifications and Experience of Substitute Faculty:

• A minimum of 30 college credits and New Jersey Substitute Certification is required for non-certified applicants.
• Valid certification from New Jersey for Continuing Education (CE), Certified Educational Administration and Supervision (CEAS), or Standard Teacher Certification required.
• A high level of skill in using the English language for communication, comprehension, and composition.

Salary:

- The daily compensation, ranging from $90 to $140, is determined by both the individual’s experience and where they are positioned.
