Job Summary of Substitute Learning Aide:

Provide classroom teachers with assistance in reinforcing instruction and supporting students, particularly those with special requirements, to foster a positive learning atmosphere and enhance students’ overall growth.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Substitute Learning Aide:

• Offer additional support to students on an individual basis or in small clusters to enhance their understanding.
• Support educators in maintaining order and overseeing student behavior within the classroom setting.
• Get ready and organize supplies for classroom tasks.
• Oversee pupils within different school environments such as lunchrooms, play areas, and educational outings.
• Assist students in fulfilling their physical, academic, and emotional requirements.
• Support students with exceptional needs according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or 504 Plans.
• Fulfill extra responsibilities given by educators and school officials.

Qualifications and Experience of Substitute Learning Aide:

• Attainment of a high school diploma or its equivalent, the General Educational Development (GED) credential.
• Mastery of the English language in verbal, written, and reading capacities.
