Supply Chain Supervisor

Job Description:

The primary aim of a Supply Chain Supervisor is to oversee the warehouse staff and ensure that they meet specific departmental goals in terms of productivity, quality, safety, and responsiveness.

Job Responsibilities:

• Offer counsel and support to hourly employees, addressing their needs and concerns accordingly.
• Highlight positive performance behaviors and mitigate negative ones to foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Utilize the Quality Network problem-solving process to resolve challenges and encourage employee contributions.
• Implement the WPO process to reorganize workspaces for maximum efficiency.
• Update the Timekeeping System (TKS) daily to avoid payroll processing errors.
• Record and document problem-solving activities using the A-3 reporting format and local guidelines.
• Plan regular sessions to assess business performance and engage in constructive dialogue with team members.
• Conduct weekly safety audits to identify potential safety risks and document relevant findings.
• Create a daily workload plan to enhance productivity.
• Provide necessary resources and tools to colleagues for effective job performance, including access to technology, updated policies and procedures, and up-to-date reference materials.
• Adhere to contractual rules and regulations as defined by national and local authorities.
• Enforce shop rules.
