Job Overview
Intuit is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Tax Analyst to join our finance and tax team. In this role, you will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations while supporting Intuit’s mission of "Powering Prosperity Around the World." You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze tax data, identify opportunities, and provide insights that optimize tax positions and business outcomes.
What You'll Do
Tax Compliance & Reporting: Prepare, review, and file accurate federal, state, and local tax returns in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Research & Analysis: Conduct research on tax laws, regulations, and incentives to identify opportunities for tax savings and ensure compliance.
Data Management: Analyze financial data to calculate tax liabilities, deferred taxes, and provision entries; maintain accurate tax records.
Support Business Decisions: Collaborate with accounting, finance, and business teams to provide tax insights for business planning and strategy.
Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in tax processes and recommend improvements to enhance accuracy and productivity.
Audit & Review Support: Assist with internal and external tax audits, providing supporting documentation and responding to inquiries as needed.
Who You Are
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or EA credentials are a plus.
2+ years of experience in tax compliance, reporting, or analysis in a corporate or professional services environment.
Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
Advanced Excel and tax software skills; experience with ERP systems preferred.
Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
