Tax Manager - Private Client Services

EisnerAmper is seeking a Tax Manager to join the Private Client Services (PCS) practice. We are looking for a dynamic individual capable of overseeing multiple client engagements efficiently, reviewing complex returns, managing staff, and conducting research. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to foster professional growth among team members. Responsibilities

• Train, supervise, and develop associates and senior staff.

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities.

• Build strong relationships with clients and firm leadership.

• Cultivate specialized knowledge in line with firm initiatives and client needs.

• Ensure accurate timekeeping and billing for yourself and your team.

• Develop understanding of clients’ businesses and meet deadlines.

• Actively solicit new client relationships and participate in networking and seminars.

• Stay current on tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards, applying new knowledge to engagements.

• Collaborate with other tax professionals to ensure efficient delivery of services.

• Mentor and coach junior team members and hold staff accountable for development goals.

• Participate in professional development programs and training.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent field.

• 4+ years of tax compliance and/or consulting experience in public accounting or a public/corporate mix.

• CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent Certification required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Taxation or relevant field.

• Experience with GoSystems or CCH Axcess tax software.

Location & Compensation

Expected Salary Range (NYC/California): $85,000 – $150,000
Salary may vary in other geographies based on market differences and experience.
