Role Overview

As a Tax Processing Associate, you will support the preparation and processing of client tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations. You will collaborate with the tax team to verify data, resolve discrepancies, and provide excellent customer support.

Key Responsibilities

• Process individual and business tax returns accurately and efficiently.

• Review client-submitted documents for completeness and accuracy.

• Resolve discrepancies and follow up with clients as needed.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

• Assist tax professionals in research and data analysis.

• Deliver excellent client service and support through various communication channels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.

• Experience with tax preparation software is a plus.

• Basic understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulations.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
