Role Overview

The Tax Returns Coordinator plays a pivotal role in managing and streamlining the preparation and processing of client tax returns. You will serve as a central point of contact between clients and the tax team, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to outstanding client service.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the preparation, review, and filing of individual and business tax returns.

• Verify the completeness and accuracy of client-submitted documents.

• Track tax return progress and manage workflow to meet deadlines.

• Resolve discrepancies and liaise with clients or tax professionals as needed.

• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

• Support the tax team with research, data management, and reporting.

• Deliver professional and friendly client support throughout the tax process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.

• Prior experience in tax preparation, processing, or accounting is a plus.

• Familiarity with tax preparation software.

• Knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
