Tax Senior Manager - Private Client Services

Position Overview

EisnerAmper is seeking a Tax Senior Manager to join our Private Client Services (PCS) practice. This role is ideal for a dynamic professional capable of overseeing multiple client engagements while contributing to business development, marketing, and recruitment. Strong leadership and the ability to mentor staff are essential. This position follows a hybrid working model with flexibility in office location.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor staff while fostering strong client relationships

• Oversee tax planning and compliance for ultra-high net worth individuals and families, especially in the financial services sector (hedge funds, private equity, and investment-related clients)

• Apply comprehensive knowledge of hedge fund K-1s and working understanding of trusts, estates, gifts, and charitable entities

• Deliver innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance solutions directly to clients

• Review complex tax returns and maintain regular client communication

• Cultivate relationships with clients, staff, and third-party vendors

• Provide staff training and performance evaluations

• Occasional local travel to client locations

• Participate in client seminars and business development efforts

• Stay updated on tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards, applying changes proactively

• Collaborate with other tax professionals to ensure efficient service delivery

• Hold self and direct reports accountable for developmental goals

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent field

• 8+ years of tax compliance experience, specializing in individual, fiduciary, estate, and gift taxation

• Recent Public Accounting experience

• CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent certification

Preferred/Desired Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Taxation or relevant field

• Experience using GoSystems or CCH Axcess tax software
