Intuit is seeking a highly skilled Tax Specialist to join our team, helping individuals and small businesses navigate their tax obligations with confidence. This role combines tax expertise, customer service, and technology-driven solutions to provide accurate, efficient, and personalized tax support. As a Tax Specialist, you will work closely with clients to prepare tax returns, provide guidance on tax planning, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.

You will leverage Intuit’s industry-leading tools, including TurboTax and other tax software, to deliver an exceptional customer experience while supporting Intuit’s mission of "Powering Prosperity Around the World."

What You'll Do

• Provide Tax Expertise: Prepare individual and small business tax returns, including complex scenarios involving deductions, credits, amendments, and investments. Offer personalized guidance to minimize liabilities and maximize refunds.

• Client Support: Serve as a trusted advisor, answering tax-related questions, helping clients understand their filings, and providing actionable recommendations for future tax planning.

• Use Technology Effectively: Utilize TurboTax and other Intuit tools to ensure accurate tax calculations and efficient workflow management.

• Ensure Compliance: Keep up-to-date with federal, state, and local tax regulations to maintain accuracy and regulatory compliance in all filings.

• Educate Clients: Explain tax concepts in clear, understandable language to empower clients to make informed financial decisions.

Who You Are

• Active EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or licensed tax professional.

• Experience preparing 30+ individual and/or small business tax returns per season using professional tax software.

• Familiarity with Circular 230 regulations.

• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly.

• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
