Job Summary of Teaching Associate Aide:

Support classroom teachers by aiding students in educational tasks, managing classroom organization, and providing individualized assistance. Encourage the academic and personal growth of students, particularly those with specific learning challenges.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Teaching Associate Aide:

• Extend support with learning to students on a one-on-one basis or in limited group settings.
• Aid in promoting a positive learning environment through the successful management of the classroom setting.
• Assist in gathering resources and handling administrative duties.
• Supervise students across various school environments, such as eating spaces, play areas, and external learning opportunities.
• Assist students with special needs in alignment with the specifications stated in their IEPs or 504 Plans.
• Help students with their academic, personal, and emotional well-being.
• Undertake further tasks as instructed by the classroom teacher or school authorities.

Qualifications and Experience of Teaching Associate Aide:

• The minimum educational attainment sought is usually either a high school diploma or a GED.
• Proficiency demonstrated in all aspects of English language usage (speaking, reading, writing).
