Jimmy John's Temporary Delivery Drivers are pivotal in maintaining the fast and efficient delivery service offered by the company, embodying the essence of their quick delivery ethos. The primary focal point revolves around swiftly and securely delivering the mouth-watering sandwiches to customers. Delivery Drivers are trained to identify the most effective routes, cross-check orders for precision, and exude a sense of urgency with a friendly demeanor, all within the confines of traffic laws and safety standards. Being a delivery driver at Jimmy John's equates to daily income, inclusive of tips and Driver Maintenance Reimbursement (DMR) benefits.

While drivers are not actively making deliveries, they are involved in supporting in-store operations and are remunerated for their contributions. This involves activities such as sandwich preparation, maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant, and delivering excellent customer service.

Operating as a well-established Jimmy John's Franchisee for more than 15 years, we oversee a network of 12 stores situated in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Our dedicated team comprises individuals who commenced their employment as part-time drivers and have risen through the ranks to assume full-time roles and leadership positions. Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly rate: $7.25 - $8.25/hr
• On average, workers receive $18 to $25 hourly, which includes tips, DMR, and base pay

Tasks and functions required of a Temporary Delivery Driver:

• Accept orders over the phone and efficiently process delivery paperwork with a polite manner
• Deliver sandwiches quickly and safely using a personal vehicle
• Process transactions and compare cash totals with managerial staff during the shift's conclusion
• Contribute to the smooth running of the shop by making sandwiches and maintaining a clean space
• Offer salutations to customers, handle cash register duties, and respond to menu-related queries
• Achieve flawless execution and organization in dealing with order processing
• Demonstrate a favorable and business-appropriate attitude in line with the prescribed clothing regulations
• Keep the restaurant tidy by regularly cleaning restrooms, floors, and workstations

Job Specifications for a Temporary Delivery Driver Position:

• 18 years of age or older at a minimum
• Both a current driver's license and confirmation of insurance are essential documents to possess
• An unblemished driving background with a minimum of two years of driving experience
• Having a reliable car is a must
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-moving, group-focused work setting
• Skilled in providing excellent service to clients
• Displaying a commitment to uphold Jimmy John's standards and master the sandwich training assessments
