Job Description:

A proficient Torch Brazer is needed to join our staff. The suitable candidate must handle brazing activities on diverse parts, ensuring exceptional standards and adherence to safety measures. Accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced setting are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilizing torch brazing means to merge metal parts together is a common practice.
• Ensure that the brazing materials are compatible with the materials being brazed.
• Ensure that metal surfaces are properly aligned and fitted before brazing, taking care to clean and prepare them.
• To obtain the desired joint quality and strength, oversee and govern the brazing process closely.
• Check the brazed joints once they are done for any defects and compliance with specifications.
• Taking care of your brazing equipment through proper maintenance and troubleshooting is essential to ensuring its optimal performance and safety.
• To prevent accidents and injuries, it is essential to comply with safety guidelines and protocols.
• Collaborate with peers and managers to deliver in terms of production goals and meet deadlines.
• Accurate maintenance of logs, detailing work executed, and resources leveraged, is fundamentally essential.
• Make valuable contributions to the improvement of brazing processes and efficiency through involvement in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary, along with preferred technical training or certification in brazing.
• Prior experience as a Brazer in industrial or manufacturing contexts that has yielded positive results.
• Strong command over torch brazing methods and extensive acquaintance with different metals and alloys.
• Success in this role relies heavily on the capacity to work with great care and accuracy.
• Skillful in decoding and making sense of blueprints, schematics, and technical illustrations.
• Skillful control of hand movements and synchronicity with visual cues.
• Having remarkable problem-solving acumen and the ability to tackle equipment malfunctions adeptly.
• Showing aptitude in being able to perform solo or as a unit productively.
