U.S. Army Combat Engineer

ABOUT THIS JOB:

This job entails enlisting in either the U.S. Army or Army Reserve

As a Combat Engineer, you'll work quickly and skillfully to help Soldiers navigate while on combat missions by constructing bridges, clearing barriers with explosives, and detecting and avoiding mines and other environmental hazards. You'll provide expertise and come up with quick and creative engineering solutions, constructing fighting positions, fixed and floating bridges, and obstacles and defense positions.

Upon completion, you will have acquired skills related to Construction & Engineering, Demolition & Explosives, and the operation of Heavy Equipment, in addition to the potential to earn 45 certifications that are recognized across the nation

JOB DUTIES:

• Ensure the maintenance of emergency notification data
• Manage radio and data transmission setups
• Offer technical assistance and support for computer systems' signal operations
• Assist in the installation and maintenance of networking setups in nearby regions
• Maintain and service equipment, terminal devices, assigned vehicles, and power generators

REQUIREMENTS:

• The ten-week Basic Training program is designed to instill discipline and readiness in military personnel
• The Advanced Individual Training course has a duration that spans nine weeks in total
• U.S. Citizen
• Those falling within the 17-34 age bracket
• Possessing a high school diploma or a GED is fundamental for accessing specific opportunities
• Meet Tattoo Guidelines
• No significant transgressions of legal regulations have been observed
• No Medical Concerns
