Position Overview

QuickMD is seeking experienced, patient-centered physicians licensed in multiple U.S. states to join our Virtual Care team. This role allows you to provide modern, compassionate healthcare without the restrictions of traditional practice. Physicians from primary care, internal medicine, urgent care, emergency medicine, or addiction medicine backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver virtual consultations including assessments, history reviews, and treatment plans.

• Provide patient-centered care with an emphasis on compassion and trust.

• Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests when clinically appropriate.

• Prescribe medications responsibly, including buprenorphine for opioid addiction treatment (other controlled substances not prescribed).

• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff for integrated care.

• Maintain accurate documentation to support continuity of care.

• Keep current with advancements in telehealth, clinical best practices, and compliance standards.

Requirements

• Active medical license in at least 3 U.S. states (5 preferred), especially in CA, FL, NC, PA, TX.

• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses (QuickMD covers costs and facilitates process).

• Commitment to at least 15–20 hours per week (8 AM–6 PM local time, across 4+ days).

• Prior experience in telehealth or high-volume patient care settings strongly preferred.

• Strong communication skills and dedication to high-quality care.

• Familiarity with EMRs and virtual platforms (training provided).

• Active DEA certification and CSL (if required).
