Woodworker

Job Description:

The Woodworker plays an essential role in handling daily work orders and managing projects that cater mainly to commercial and industrial clients. These projects may involve door installation, hardware and concrete work, demolition, and new construction and renovation projects. Your daily operations include traveling to project sites, which can vary within a radius of one to one and a half hours of the office, with frequent visits to the organization's largest client. The successful candidate must possess independent thinking and excellent problem-solving skills with a strong focus on maintaining high levels of customer service. You'll be paid between $25-$28 per hour, with an opportunity for mileage reimbursement based on the job site.

Hard Skills:

• Steel and metal frames are also cost-effective and require less maintenance than traditional framing materials
• Acoustical tile ceilings are often used in public spaces like offices and classrooms to create a more peaceful and focused environment
• Cabinetry
• Countertops
• One of the primary benefits of working with light concrete is that it can help to reduce the overall cost of a construction project, particularly when compared to more traditional building materials
• Light demolition
• Commercial doors and hardware can be installed using a variety of materials, such as steel, fiberglass, or wood, depending on the specific requirements of the project
• In addition to technical know-how, soft skills such as patience, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn can also be developed through the use and maintenance of hand tools
• Demonstrating the capability to work unsupervised with minimal direction
