Workday Adaptive Planning Manager

Position Overview

EisnerAmper is seeking a Workday Adaptive Planning Manager to lead implementation teams assisting clients in transitioning their budgeting processes—such as Excel budgets, forecasts, reports, dashboards, or other tools—to the Workday Adaptive Planning solution.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement budgets, forecasts, and reports within the full Workday Adaptive Planning suite

• Analyze spreadsheet-based financial models across multiple industries, primarily government contractors

• Consult with clients on budgeting and planning best practices

• Lead requirements gathering meetings and document client needs

• Respond to client support questions via phone and email

• Collaborate with product support teams to troubleshoot and resolve client issues

• Review client product feature requests with product management and development

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree

• Minimum 5 years of Adaptive Planning implementation experience as a Lead

• At least 5 full lifecycle Adaptive Planning implementations as Lead or Architect

• Certification in Workday Adaptive Planning

Preferred/Desired Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, MIS, or equivalent

• Experience in accounting or finance roles

• Leadership skills and ability to engage with client personnel at all levels

• Expertise in Adaptive Planning design, process alignment, and EPM/ERP system concepts

• Deep understanding of Adaptive Planning processes and best practices

• Strong problem-solving and results-oriented mindset with minimal supervision

• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills

• Advanced Excel skills focused on modeling, reporting, and data analysis

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects

• Willingness to work extended hours or travel as needed

Salary Range

• Illinois and Minnesota: $100,000 – $140,000

• Other geographies: may vary based on market differences; actual compensation determined by experience and other factors permitted by law
