Position Summary

The Janitor is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of the club. This position plays a critical role in creating a first-class experience for our members by keeping the facility in top condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks throughout the facility, including workout areas, locker rooms, restrooms, offices, and common spaces

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect all applicable areas

• Clean gym equipment and ensure sanitizing stations are fully stocked

• Take out trash and recycling; ensure disposal areas are neat and safe

• Restock paper products, soap, and cleaning supplies as needed

• Monitor and report any maintenance or safety concerns to management

• Follow all safety guidelines, especially when handling cleaning chemicals

• Maintain janitorial closets and equipment in clean, organized condition

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning checklists

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor (bending, lifting, standing)

• Willingness to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required
