Visual Presentation Managers are tasked with creating visually appealing displays that attract and engage customers in the shopping experience

About the Role

As a Visual Presentation Manager, you play a crucial part in delivering an engaging, upscale, and uniform shopping experience by enforcing preset visual standards and business excellence. Collaborating with your store colleagues, you will leverage your understanding of current trends to ensure the strategic application of visual and commercial guidelines, thereby stimulating sales growth. It will be your responsibility to lead, mentor, and cultivate a proficient Visual Merchandiser team, ensuring a sustainable talent pipeline within your store.

A Day's Routine

Customer Sales & Profit involves the monetary benefits and proceeds obtained from customer purchases

  • Elevate the overall customer experience in your store by maintaining visual and commercial curation under the established guidelines
  • Portraying a constructive image of yourself and the H&M Brand is vital in customer interactions
  • Partner with the Store Manager, Area Visual Manager, and Store teams to set, execute, and assess store visual and commercial aspirations
  • Direct your virtual machine team to orchestrate, strategize, and prioritize work based on the store activation timetable, and flexibly adjust to cater to business needs by working closely with the Store Management team and Area Visual Manager
  • Collaborate with the Store Management team and Area Visual Manager to guarantee the timely commencement and conclusion of the newest global campaigns and sales initiatives in alignment with H&M Brand Standards
  • Aid in ensuring the proper care of apparel, monitoring stock levels, and contributing insights on how to allocate inventory to Store Management and Area teams
  • Conduct a sales report (KPIs) assessment to track performance trends, detect, and arrange visual and business potentials together with the Store Management team
  • Your VM team must devise efficient and successful measures to elevate customer satisfaction levels to attain sales targets, store goals, budget limits, and subsequent actions in partnership with the Store Management team
  • Maintain consistency in following operational routines, legal mandates, communication protocols, and best practices for OMNI services across various departments by working closely with the Store Management team

Keeping up with fashion trends and developments allows individuals to remain stylish and in vogue

  • Be up-to-date with the fashion scene by following trends, styles, brands, and influencers that are prominent in the industry.
  • Develop your visual merchandising team by guiding them to prioritize staying informed about fashion trends and theories. By focusing on mood board creation for styling techniques and product presentation, they can better understand customer needs and elevate the overall shopping experience

Team & Development

  • Drive, motivate, and instruct your store staff, keeping them informed about changing seasons, emerging fashion trends, pertinent visual and business details, and in-store communication strategies, including shaping customer price understanding
  • Offer guidance and support to the VM and Store teams in developing their visual and commercial competencies to ensure a premium quality of product showcasing and commercial exhibition, following the prescribed guidelines
  • Support & develop daily routines and best practices for your Store team to always ensure a consistent level of visual & commercial standard while maintaining customer service engagement
  • Tasked with managing the selection, induction, assessment, training, and enhancement of staff and recent hires alongside the Store Manager and Area Team
  • Create a talent development program within your store to ensure a steady pipeline of skilled individuals ready to support the growth of your business
  • Manage, offer, and execute visual and professional advancement training for yourself and your team
  • Makes certain that Store teams finish the Visual Competences & Commercial 4 All trainings, meeting the learning and development goals tailored to the Regional & Sales Market contexts
  • Help the Sales and Area teams by offering talented individuals to meet the requirements of expanding store projects

Visual and commercial presentation in action

  • Tasked with managing the visual aesthetics, product placement, and overall styling of the store by implementing plans based on the commercial calendar, product distribution strategy, store events, and fashion trends by visual and commercial guidelines
  • Instruct and monitor your visual merchandising team in the meticulous execution of optimal practices for sample selection, notably in managing inventory levels of garments, accessories, and footwear in the stockroom, to support the translation of visual and commercial inspirations into cohesive trend narratives
  • Ensure that your VM team implements window and styling strategies in compliance with the visual and commercial directives to craft an engaging and profitable customer journey
  • Maintain a consistent customer flow by arranging the commercial layout and fixtures in a way that maximizes the visibility of trending products and creates an engaging narrative for shoppers
  • The proper execution of maintaining price signs in windows and throughout the store, in line with the guidelines determined by the Global strategy and Sales Market requirements, should be carried out diligently by the VM and Store teams
  • Work closely with the Facilities Management team to ensure that all lighting arrangements are in proper working order, and directed to enhance the visibility of our products and window showcases across the store
  • Take care of display forms and interior materials while focusing on sustainable practices
  • Maintain and ensure the upkeep of your store navigation in coordination with the Area Visual Manager, adhering to the most recent guidelines and store arrangement
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels at your store to accommodate sales and promotional activities based on local practices
  • Adhere to local security guidelines by keeping the sales floor and back of house clean, well-organized, and safe

Additional Information

Compensation for this position is projected to be between $21.87 and $30.36 hourly
